Chad has experience treating overseas and Nationally, in Darwin and Nepal. He has a Bachelor of Health Science (Acupuncture) from Endeavour College of Natural Health.
Studying at both the Gold Coast and Brisbane campuses allowed a much broader learning experience from a variety of Acupuncture lecturers.
After completing the 4 year degree, he went on to volunteer as a Primary Health Care worker in Nepal for 2 months (Acupuncture Relief Project), where forms of traditional and modern medicine were used in the treatment of various chronic, acute and painful disorders. His blog “Dr Chad” can be read here:
Acupuncture Relief Project
Chad and other practitioners used Acupuncture, herbs (Chinese Herbal Formulae), moxibustion (heat therapy) and electro-acupuncture for disorders that included:

Lower Back Pain, Knee Pain, Osteoarthritis / rheumatoid arthritis
Hearing problems / loss of hearing / ear infections (with the aid of antibiotics and western medicine)
Neck and shoulder pain (including frozen shoulder), tennis elbow
Digestive complaints
Numbness and tingling, gout, headaches, migraine
Stroke rehabilitation,
Cervical / Lumbar / thoracic/ pain from various spinal pain and conditions including Lordosis and other severe spinal curvature disorders

Practitioners also were responsible for providing a referral network for patients to see other specialist’s (GP’s and surgeons) when health concerns were outside our scope of practise.
Overall Chad is focused on using Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine in the most efficient way possible and knows that all forms of both modern and traditional medicine hold value and aims to continually increase knowledge of when and how acupuncture can be effective. Chad has an AACMA (Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association) member webpage that can be found at:
Acupuncture can be a powerful tool with many painful and chronic conditions, however sometimes it is important to utilise all forms of medicine that is available, whether it be in the form of visiting your local GP / Doctor, Psychologist or utilising other specialised therapies such as Osteopaths and chiropractic care. In other words, sometimes referral to other clinics is necessary in order to give you the best care possible.

Chad is consistently continuing professional development through hands on seminars and is trained in various systems of Acupuncture including certification in Dr Tans Balance Method
